Who is responsible

What we collect

Server logs: like every website, our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. These logs are kept for a short period and not used to identify you.

Information stored on your device: we keep a few preferences in your browser so the site works the way you left it. They never leave your device:

• sz-edition — the country edition you last used
• sz-install-dismissed — when you closed the "add to home screen" message
• sz-installed — whether you installed the app
• Offline cache — copies of the site files so it works without signal

Affiliate links

If you click a product link, you leave SpotZero for Amazon. Amazon may then set its own cookies and process your data under its own privacy notice, which we recommend you read. We receive only anonymous totals of clicks and sales — never your name, address or what else you bought.

Advertising

We do not currently show adverts or use advertising cookies. If we introduce them, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, object to its use, or ask us to restrict it. Email support@spotzero.app. You can also complain to your data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

You can clear the preferences and offline cache at any time in your browser settings.

We will update the date at the top if this policy changes.
